Smithers adds expertise with two engineers at distribution testing laboratory

(Akron, Ohio) – Smithers, a leading provider of testing, consulting, information, and compliance services, announces the hire of Cayla Ser and Dave Griffith at its distribution testing laboratory in Lansing, Michigan.Cayla Ser is appointed to the role of Commercial Engineer. In this role, she communicates directly with clients to understand their goals and coordinate the right testing solution to meet their needs. She joins the team with experience in the automotive supply chain and Amazon SIOC/FFP-compliant packaging. She has a Bachelor of Science in packaging science from Michigan State University.
David Griffith joins the team as a Project Engineer where he will conduct standardized testing and designs custom testing protocols for clients. Prior to joining the Smithers team, Griffith gained experience through internships at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Enprotech Mechanical Services, and ABF Freight, and a role at Dunn Paper. He has a Bachelor of Science in packaging science from Michigan State University.
