Marty Willem, Automotive Sector Manager
Martin (‘Marty’) Willem has over 25 years in the 3rd-party conformity industry in roles ranging from National Operations Manager, Business Unit Manager, Associate Director of International Operations, and Vice President.
In these roles, Marty has gained significant insights across a wide range of standards and AB/Oversight interfaces including holding a past chair position with the International Automotive Certification Bodies Association (IACBA). He also maintains active full credentials as an IATF 16949 Auditor.
Aaron Dalby, Aerospace Sector Manager
Aaron Dalby is an accomplished quality manager and lead auditor with demonstrated expertise across ISO 9001 and Aerospace Quality Management Systems, in implementation, maintenance, auditing, data and risk analysis and improvement activities.
Aaron has an extensive history of implementing and upgrading quality management systems that have allowed for organization improvement in compliance, effectiveness and efficiency, as well as auditing to the requirements of ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9110 and AS9120 for companies of varying size.
Andrae Maze, ISO Sector Manager
Andrae has a Master of Business Administration, A Bachelor of Management and Leadership as well as a Manufacture Engineer Associate Degree.
Andrae brings over 25 years of quality management and quality assurance and control experience, serving in Program Manager, Quality Manager and Quality Engineering roles. He has a vast knowledge of various quality management systems and process tools, certified internal lead auditor and training experience.
Robert McVay, Senior Consultant, Information Security Services
Robert McVay joined Smithers in 2021 as a Senior Consultant for Information Security Services in Smithers Quality Assessments Division. He is a customer-focused Information Technology and Cybersecurity Executive - CISSP and CISO certified. He has demonstrated competence balancing cyber security and risk with program objectives to deliver rapid results. His certifications include Green Belt Lean Six Sigma and Agile Project Manager, with current Top-Secret Clearance.
Prior to Smithers, he was a founding partner for the cybersecurity and strategy consulting firm Optimus Partners, LLC. Robert retired from the United States Army after serving with distinction for more than 30 years. He has served at all levels within the US Army and was a successful project manager for two multi-billion-dollar programs.
