When importing tires for sale into the United States, companies must be mindful of legal, regulatory, and quality requirements. In this one-hour webinar, the experts will provide an overview of developments in the international tire supply chain in recent years and how participation in that supply chain affects multiple aspects of a company’s business beyond the purchasing and selling of tires.
 
Chad Mowery will discuss how to prepare your business to address tire quality issues and any resulting legal liability. Bruce Lambillotte will walk through the process of designing a new tire qualification program and what to prioritize based on budget and unique circumstances. Other key topics to be discussed:

Meet the Presenters

Bruce Lambillotte, Smithers
With over 42 years of experience in the rubber and tire industry, Bruce has expertise in rubber compounding, tire formulation, polymer chemistry and characterization, physical properties of elastomer materials, polymer product failure analysis, tire reinforcements, and product and process development. In his most recent position at Vice President of Technical Consulting, Bruce is responsible for analytical and physical properties problem solving at Smithers. 
 
Chad Mowery, Roetzel & Andress, LPA
Chad Mowery is a shareholder at Roetzel & Andress, LPA. His practice includes the representation of manufacturers in product liability and mass tort matters on both the local and national level. As part of that focus, he has spent over fifteen years representing entities within the tire industry, including a number of tire manufacturers and tire retailers. Chad leads a team of lawyers at Roetzel who specialize in addressing the needs of automotive parts companies. These engagements have spanned from trying individual product liability matters to verdict to serving as national counsel for major tire manufacturers to providing litigation readiness advice to other companies within the tire industry. Chad received his B. A. from the University of Notre Dame and his J. D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
