Webinar: Analytical Chemistry in support of Terrestrial Ecotoxicology

Many of the guidelines covering terrestrial ecotoxicology testing have been in place for years and do not have a stated requirement for analytical dose verification. Changing regulatory expectations have resulted in dose verification of one form or another becoming more commonplace in support of regulatory studies. These changes add robustness to the data and can provide additional information on the test material in the matrix - such as stability or degradation over time.

In this webinar, Smithers experts discuss their experience with the increased use and importance of analytical chemistry in terrestrial ecotoxicology studies, as well as options for sampling, analysis, and acceptance criteria in a range of studies and matrices.

The impact of the evolving regulatory environment on a variety of affected terrestrial ecotoxicology topics is addressed, including:
  • Stereoisomer testing – stability of isomeric balance
  • Bee diet analysis
  • Metabolites
  • Plant studies and dose verification
  • Worm bioconcentration studies
  • Earthworm reproduction testing
  • Pre-study considerations
