Gerald Sanders

Associate Chemist, Environmental Risk Sciences

Gerald Sanders, Associate Chemist II, joined Smithers in 2018 as Chemistry Technician and is responsible for executing method development, validation and sample analysis in Residue Chemistry. He earned his BS in Professional Chemistry from Bridgewater State University, Bridgewater, MA. He is a member of the Smithers Hazardous Waste Team and Safety Team. In his spare time, he enjoys astronomy and exploring nature.

Gerald is presenting “Extraction of Nitrite and Nitrate from Swine Tissues following Oral Administration of Sodium Nitrite” at the SETAC North America 43rd Annual Meeting, November 13-17, 2022, in Pittsburgh, PA.
