Summary

This test method predicts the behaviour of polymers and elastomers at low temperatures. It establishes at what temperature 50% of the test specimens would likely fail if subjected to the conditions in real-life.

Note: Although this test method is useful for specification development, it doesn’t provide data on the lowest temperature a material is suitable for use.
